Further details: Our morning walks are usually from 5 to 6 miles long, taken at a moderate pace and last 2 to 3 hours. A reasonable standard of fitness is required; you will encounter moderate gradients, muddy and wet underfoot conditions, some rough moorland walking, stiles, stepping stones and unpredictable weather. However the reward is often stunning scenery. Members are encouraged to plan walks and contribute to the variety of our programme.
